System sizing — the number of indoor and outdoor units recommended — is determined by the unique characteristics of your home. These include, but are not limited, to:
- Insulation level of floors, walls, and attics
- Insulation level and air-tightness of windows and doors
- Amount of glass in the space and exposure to sunlight
- Average ceiling height
- Number of exterior walls in space
- Physical layout of each room and other connected spaces
- Average number of occupants in each space
Your local Quilt Certified Partner will spend time analyzing your home to determine the right system size and installation plan for your home based on the factors above.
