How do I pair my sensor?

Pairing your sensor is simple and can be done by either you or your installer:

1. Open the Quilt app and navigate to the room where you want to add the sensor
2. Select ​“Add sensor” from the room settings
3. Follow the pairing flow using proximity detection — the app will find the closet sensor automatically
4. Confirm pairing when the correct sensor is identified

The sensors pair via Bluetooth and the Quilt app uses signal proximity to detect which specific sensor you are trying to pair in a given space. If you have multiple sensors to pair, pair them one at a time by locating a single sensor near your mobile device (we recommend moving unpaired sensors to another room!).

The Quilt app will guide you through the process, and you can easily manage all paired sensors directly from the app.
