Dial is offline or unresponsive. How do I restart my dial?

If the Dial is not performing as expected, you can restart the Dial. 

1. If the screen is responsive, swipe down to enter settings, then swipe over and select ​“Restart.”
2. If the display is frozen, unplug the adapter and plug it back in to restart it.
3. If the power source is inaccessible, you can manually turn the Dial on and off by pressing the small reset button on the bottom of the Dial. 
   • To access the reset button:
     • Tabletop Dials: Turn the Dial over and remove the rubber cover.
     • Wall-mounted Dials: To remove the Dial from the wall mount, wrap your hand around its base, then firmly pull it away from the wall. Watch video here for a demonstration of removal.
   • Maintain power connection to the Dial, do not disconnect the power cable or power adapter.
   • Momentarily press the small reset button on the bottom of the Dial using a sharp tool, like a toothpick.
     • The Dial should power off and on.
   • The Dial is ready to be used as normal.
