Why did my Quilt system turn on when it was set to Off?

Freeze Protection kicked in. When your system detects that a room has dropped to 46°F or below, your indoor unit automatically activates heating to bring the space back to a safe temperature — protecting you, your pets, and your pipes. It’s designed to run even when the unit is set to Off, so your home stays protected without any action required from you. If Freeze Protection is triggering unexpectedly, you can enable or disable it room-by-room in Settings in the Quilt App.
